High Desert Fiberworks
Spin some bunny...
enjoy a little luxury!
Raising Angora rabbits involves much more than throwing any feed store pellet in the food hopper and waiting to collect luscious fiber. I hope to provide as much information as is possible on this page about the care and management of angora rabbits. So many variables can contribute to fiber production, a rabbit's overall health, and also it's happiness, that summarizing its care in a few sentences is difficult....if not impossible!
Most of the information you will find here I have gleaned from the internet, knowledgeable IAGARB mentors/friends, other angora rabbit raisers, books, and my own personal experience. I am by no means an expert, so please take what works for you, and leave the rest.
